Katherine Benedict, Campus & Community Editor

Katherine “Katie” Benedict is a senior who is excited to continue serving as a Campus and Community Co-Editor this year. She is majoring in environmental science, with a minor in international relations. Katherine has lived in Seattle, San Diego, and the Ann Arbor area, but Grand Rapids is now her hometown. This is Katherine’s fourth year at Chimes, where she is firmly on Team Oxford Comma. She also works as a mentor for the First Year Research in Earth Sciences: Dunes program (aka FYRES). Katherine’s favorite hobbies include reading, knitting, hiking, and daydreaming about travel.
