Liana Hirner

Liana Hirner, Managing Editor

Liana Hirner is a senior from Aurora, Illinois, but always tells people she’s from Chicago so she sounds cooler. She is a writing major and gender studies minor. Liana first served as Op-Ed Editor in the fall 2021 semester, and she became Culture Editor the following semester. She then served as Culture Editor in the fall of 2022 and of 2023. Now, she’s finishing her time at Chimes as spring 2024’s Managing Editor. If Liana had the time and the money, she’d spend every afternoon at a cozy coffee shop, drinking oat milk lattes as she writes for fun. Liana wants to hear any story ideas or questions you have. You can reach her at [email protected].
