Shortcuts are always the longest roads. Eliminate every road in your internal GPS that leads you to what’s easy. Slowly is the fastest way to get to where you want to be.
Sometimes the best step forward is a step back — take a second and breathe. As long as you have breath in your body then you have purpose. Stop putting those imaginary deadlines on your life. Time is an illusion. Every day, you have an opportunity to be better than yesterday. It’s up to you to decide if you are going to be successful or not. Today is the day to make the choice to become the best version of yourself.
For so long, you have given in to whatever comes the easiest. You have been cheating yourself out of your destiny. Some of you have already given up before you even tried. God didn’t create you to not reach your full potential. You owe it to yourself. You have to dive deep within and muster up the courage to endure what you consider tough. Trust me, the grass is much greener on the other side.
I wish I could tell you that it’s going to get easier as you progress along. I wish I could tell you that success is going to happen overnight. I wish I could, but it’s not the truth. What I can tell you is that this current version of yourself is not going to be sufficient enough for true success. Elevate yourself mentally, physically, and spiritually. The moment you get comfortable with being uncomfortable is the moment your life will change forever.
Get dialed in. Let this moment be a moment of transformation and motivation. Let this moment not just move you, but change you to take action. I believe in you; you got this.
The next time you want to give in to that desire for comfort, remember that your future self is going to be the one to suffer the consequences. It’s so easy to put it off and act like it doesn’t exist. But your future self that you’re passing all these burdens to will one day be your present self, and you’ll wish you chose to do otherwise. Remember, nothing changes if nothing changes. God bless.
