Zero on campus coronavirus cases
Calvin has zero on-campus coronavirus cases as of Wednesday, Sept. 30, according to the COVID-19 dashboard.
At the that time, there wasis one active off-campus case and one active employee case. 43 members of the Calvin community have recovered from the virus.
In a video to the student body, President Michael Le Roy said, “It is far beyond even my most hopeful prayers that we would be in a place like this.”
Le Roy highlighted student, faculty and employee cooperation as essential to this success.
To celebrate this, Le Roy will be passing out an unspecified sweet treat on Commons Lawn at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 2.
