Calvin named a “stone-cold sober” school by Princeton Review
If you’re a Calvin student out partying every weekend, you’re probably in the minority.
Calvin was ranked the tenth most “stone-cold sober” school, a ranking that highlights a lack of partying, drugs, and alcohol.
“We are delighted to be on that list,” said Shirley Hoogstra, vice president of student life. “We take seriously our commitment to help Christian young adults to make the best choices.”
Hoogstra highlighted the source of the rankings: voting by the students themselves.
“I can say I really like it that students have smart fun and they don’t have to be intoxicated to have fun, but it’s students who are saying that,” she said.
